La section new-yorkaise de l'Organisation nationale des femmes (NOW) accuse Edward Kennedy d'avoir trahi les femmes en choisissant d'appuyer Barack Obama plutôt que Hillary Clinton, comme on peut le lire ici. Je cite dans le texte un passage du communiqué émis par l'organisation féministe :
"He's picked the new guy over us. He's joined the list of progressive white men who can't or won't handle the prospect of a woman president who is Hillary Clinton."
