Dans le vidéoclip où elle a fait son annonce, samedi dernier, elle est apparue détendue et souriante, un contraste avec son image. «Je suis la personne la plus célèbre que les gens ne connaissent pas», a-t-elle déclaré sur NBC, quelque jours plus tard.Sur la même chaîne, après le discours du président sur l'état de l'union, elle a exprimé avec aplomb et assurance son opposition à la stratégie irakienne de George W. Bush. Le même soir, sur d'autres chaînes, son principal adversaire, Barack Obama, a parlé avec une voix plus hésitante. Tirant de l'arrière par plus de 20 points sur Hillary Clinton dans les sondages, le sénateur de l'Illinois a des croûtes à manger.
