Les Clinton ont lancé une attaque concertée contre Barack Obama aujourd'hui. La sénatrice de New York a commencé à diffuser au Wisconsin une pub radiophonique où elle affirme être la seule candidate encore en lice à présenter un plan d'assurance-santé universel.
Dans le même temps, selon cet article du Dallas Morning News, Bill Clinton a accusé Obama de vouloir priver les Américains de l'assurance-santé universelle. Je cite dans le texte un discours à Texarkana de celui qui a été président pendant deux mandats :
"Her opponent excites more Americans ... but would in fact deny us universal health-care coverage for the first time. She represents the solution business."
"It would be truly tragic if the Democratic Party walked away from universal health care for the first time in 60 years when we finally got the business community and the medical community in line behind us."
