Victorieux à Pune, le Français Gilles Simon a bondi de 32 places pour remonter au 57e rang mondial grâce à ce premier titre depuis près de trois ans.
Son compatriote Gaël Monfils a progressé de sept rangs après son septième titre, remporté à Doha, et revient au 39e rang.
L'Australien Nick Kyrgios, vainqueur dimanche à Brisbane de son quatrième titre, à 21 ans, gagne quatre places et contribue avec Anderson à repousser au 19e rang l'Écossais Andy Murray, forfait pour les Internationaux d'Australie.
